Other links of Interest

A piece of debris fell from the sky into someone's home in New Zealand. Officials say it is not from outer space, nor from an airplane. But if not from those places, what could it be from? Looks like part of a car break to me. Maybe someone threw it out of an airplane.

This is an account of strange lights in the sky in the UK.

"Last week the Free Press revealed that confidential Ministry of Defence files on Unidentified Flying Objects are set to be made public in the coming weeks.

Among these declassified papers is expected to be evidence of the suspected UFO crash on Cader Berwyn on January 23, 1974. Dozens of witnesses across Lancashire and Cheshire phoned the police earlier that evening after seeing a strange formation of green lights flying erratically over the skies.

At 8.38pm something impacted into the Berwyn mountains and the resulting tremor - which measured 4.5 on the Richter Scale - was felt in Wrexham, Chester, Liverpool and some areas of Manchester."

April Meeting Notes

I mentioned during my introduction that I had read about F-117 Nighthawk being retired--here is that link. http://www.dailytech.com/USAF+Will+Send+Last+F117s+Into+Retirement/article11051.htm

Also, there is discussion that the Tonapah Test Site (TTR) may move. TTR is near the "Operating Location" at Groom Lake popularly known as Area 51. Senator Harry Reid is trying to stop TTR from moving--it will cost Nevada jobs.

I once camped near TTR and I saw some very unusual lights during the night that appeared to be some type of air craft that moved very quickly in a manner that I have never seen before.

Later, we were trying to figure out the location of Venus during March. I found this site during the meeting that proved very useful for locating Venus and Mercury.

We also talked about the super nova that occured in March--here are two the stories on that.

Another article I recently came across was about how a moon base could be built on the back of a giant robot that moves around the moon. http://space.newscientist.com/article/dn13590-giant-robots-could-carry-lunar-bases-on-their-backs.html

And finally, this UFO is for sale on Craigslist. http://www.craigslist.org/about/best/phx/578467547.html
